    As a user of a Samsung Galaxy watch (new version) I decided to try the TicWatch Pro Ultra GPS (“TW”). There are things I like about this watch that are simply not available on the Galaxy watch. Notably the dual display fits my needs better than the Galaxy. The TW has a battery large enough to grant three days of run with full use and longer if put into essential mode. The watch is rugged, complying with military specs that ensure shock and temperature resistance to extreme environments. It is also water resistant to 1.5 meters (about 5 ft). It is made with gorilla glass that is also protected by a non rotating watch bezel. After a two months of use the watch does not have the slightest mark on it.
    Operating the watch takes a little time to learn but is not difficult. Operation is fast using the 4100 processor with no noticeable difference when compared to the Galaxy. TW provides about 90 different forms of exercise tracking built in. One can also utilize the Google exercise apps. The GPS worked reasonably well when tracking exercise. TW exercise apps can be accessed pushing the lower of the two functional buttons. The top button illuminates the second display and pushing a second time accesses installed apps. There is ample memory for app storage. The LCD style display is always and is backlit to the color of your choice with a tilt of the wrist. If the need arises the LCD can be turned off and the watch reverts to a standard single display watch. It will soon be upgraded to wear os 3.

    The TW also has the ability to take and make phone calls. It sports a heart rate monitor SPO2 measurement, AFIB detection, and physical/mental fatigue detection.

    This is simply the best watch available currently. It is my new go to watch.

     The Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS smartwatch is one of the best WearOS Watches available. It is the flagship model in the Ticwatch lineup and it certainly feels and looks premium. It is powered by the Qualcomm SnapDragon W4100 processor as well as a secondary processor to power essential items such as the second display. Yes that’s right, this watch has a second transparent display layered over the main display which helps it achieve impressive battery life and performance.
    Being an Ultra model it contains all the sensors you would need, such as Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, SpO2 Sensor, HD PPG Heart Rate Sensor, Low Latency Off-Body Sensor and Barometer. I wish they would have thrown in a temperature sensor as well, given the COVID situation but maybe in a future model that would be included. The Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra is made of premium materials such as Fluoro Rubber for the watch strap, Gorilla Glass for extra protection on the bright 1.4-inch AMOLED Screen. Watch bands are easily changeable if you want to switch it out for something your liking. Out of the box the watch looks polished and dressy.
    Using the watch daily, there is nothing much to complain about. It gets everything right. WearOS is customizable and there is no shortage of Watch faces available either in the WearOS app or the Mobvoi companion app. The Mobvoi app has been updated and is now more user friendly and easy to use. It also allows you to send data collected to specific third party apps such as Strava and Google Fit. I wish Samsung Health was an option but who knows, maybe an update in the future will take care of this.
    I have to say, my favourite feature of this watch is the secondary display. It gives essential information such as date, time, steps and a battery indicator. It also lights up with a customizable colour when you twist your arm up to look at it. This is very helpful and allows you to not have to wake up the entire watch to check the main thing you needed a watch for, the time. My hope is that an update allows you to customize the secondary display. Battery life for my usage has been excellent. I am easily getting two and half days using smart mode.
    Having used previous models of Ticwatches in the past, I have to say this has been the best feeling and performing one yet. Previous lower end models almost always had issues with being consistent with Heart Rate or Sp02 reporting 24/7. There was always gaps and missing days of data. Sometimes weeks of nothing. I have to say though, so far the Pro 3 Ultra has been very consistent with no issues. The software is as polished as WearOS 2 can be. With the promised update to WearOS 3 coming sometime in the future, this would be an excellent watch to consider. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this watch.

    I did have issues with it charging to a 100 percent for the first two cycles but I guess you have to break in the battery? Its been working good , use it on a daily and can get two plus days usage usually (I have every sensor going, and getting my money's worth out of usage lol!) I originally wanted a samsung galaxy watch or the new pixel watch (I have a pixel phone and am a pixel fanatic!) . Both watches are amazing and I would have bought them had it not been for the fact that Samsung smart watches require a samsung phone to download an app from the samsung store (only available on samsung phones) to get full usage of all the cool sensors , and features. So that was a bummer . And with the pixel watch you have a paywall to get all your features after awhile. So yeah no thanks Im paying a pretty penny for a device that will require a subscription....hard pass. Not to mention the disappointing battery life. This watch and brand was unheard of (to me) but I did my research, a lot of research, youtube videos and web reviews that finally convinced me to take a chance on this watch. Everything works, there is no pay wall, pairs just fine with my pixel phone , and love this weird second display thingy that saves a lot of battery capacity. The watch will go into this extreme power save mode where only the second display will work and continue to counts steps. This company has its act together , a solid watch , solid features , at the right price. It has been a solid watch , and once the watch dies I will definitely buy another from this company . The only thing I dislike about this watch is the name. Its like the marketing team decided to use all power phrases and statements in its name. To me this has always been a red flag for a product. Stream line the name , and I think more people will see the watch for what it is instead of a marketing frenzie name..... So to close ....I love my super mega turbo gps awesome possum life changing product that works really well and built sturdy for a good price....see what I did there...lol....marketing/sensory overload lol.

    I am a long-time TicWatch Pro 2 user.
    I was very excited to try the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra and it did not disappoint.
    The improvements to the LED screen/essential mode alone make this upgrade worth it. If you are familiar with the TicWatch essential mode, you will be happy to know that with this iteration of the Pro, there is a backlight for the LED screen. So when you are in battery stingy essential mode, you can still read the time at night! Also you can make the backlight a variety of colors. Another killer upgrade to essential mode is that you can now schedule it. For example, I have mine set to go into essential mode every night at 9:30P and resume full features at 5:30A, saving tons of battery while I sleep. Worried about losing sleep tracking from doing that though? Well don’t! Because now sleep tracking works while in essential mode, too!!! To give you an idea of what this does for battery, I took the watch off the charger Monday morning and left town for business, leaving the charger behind. I returned very late Wednesday evening with 48% battery remaining. If you extrapolate, that means you could very easily get 5-6 days of a full featured smartwatch (assuming you don’t need wrist notifications while you sleep).
    Another welcome upgrade is the Snapdragon 4100 and increased onboard storage. Everything is buttery smooth. You still have some of the quirkiness of Wear OS, but that is hardly Mobvoi’s fault. I also expect a lot of those to disappear when Wear 3 arrives on this watch.
    For the runners out there, the GPS tracking of this watch has been on par with my Garmin watches. It takes a little longer to lock onto satellites than the Garmin, especially if you are in a wooded area or it is very overcast. Like the past TicWatch Pro’s, you cannot configure the activity tracking LED screen (at least that I can find). That means you are stuck with the total time elapsed as your biggest complication and your distance covered as a little bitty guy underneath that. I would love to see the ability to make distance covered the large complication.
    All in all, I think this is the best Wear OS watch on the market right now. Price wise, it is right on par with everything else that has the 4100 processor. The dual screen technology sets this apart from any other smartwatch. I am very excited for the LTE variant of this watch to be released so I can go back to taking calls while out on a run (any joggers out there who have on-call jobs will love this). Also nice to be able to fire up Google Maps for when you get a little extra lost on the jog….
    Great work Mobvoi, excited to see software improvements on this lineup and what the next iteration of Wear OS will bring.
