    WOW this girl can find her way around. Once she maps your house you can send her anywhere for a clean up. Occasionally she get's hung up but that is seldom. She has mapped our whole house and is scheduled Monday, Wednesday and Friday for sweep up. We have watched her go around objects and it is amazing. We have her hooked up to Alexa and the app on our phones. She has been with us a month and so far great results. Thank you iRobot.

    This is a great robot vacuum for more complex cleaning needs. I was amazed at how well it mapped my downstairs rooms. I like that I’m able to clean a specific room or rooms through the app or using Alexa.

    I didn’t realize how handy it would be for the vacuum to empty its bin automatically after cleaning. It’s also really convenient that it will recharge itself and then resume cleaning on schedule without my intervention. These two features are a big plus!

    One drawback is that it doesn’t work well when you schedule it to work after dark. I schedule my automatic cleaning only during daylight hours. I tried to schedule it in the evening and had lights turned on, but it got confused on a number of occasions. Once it gets confused, I find that I need to go in and delete new maps it starts during its confusion to get it working correctly again.

    I don’t normally write reviews but this exceeded all my expectations! I have a Golden Retriever and also foster, so the fur is out of control at my house. I had a Roomba 12 years ago with my previous Golden and it was no match for all the shedding, which made me hesitant to try the new version. I am so glad I did! It does a great job getting all the fur and has never gotten clogged with dog hair. It didn’t have any problems mapping my house, although it is a smaller house. What I really love is you can have it vacuum just a certain area, like the rug in the bedroom that my dog loves to lay on. I will say when it empties the bin it sounds like a jet plane taking off, but it’s over in a few seconds. Overall, worth every penny!

I have 2 long hair cats and a dog. This vaccum is amazing with picking up the pet hair and NOT clogging!! I'm so happy with it.

    I especially like that my iRobot is self directed. All I have to do is tell it where to vacuum. It’s been a nice tool to add to my cleaning arsenal. I’ve had back surgery. Old scar tissue and arthritis make it painful to push a vacuum. This tool is great.

    Pros:
    Cleans well
    Gets over most throw rugs by itself
    Fits underneath my bed frames and dressers - Also goes underneath my den furniture (its all on feet)
    Empties itself and recharges to finish the job - my home is 3000sf.

    Cons:
    I wish it were just a wee bit lower to the floor. Then it would get underneath some of my other shelving and bathroom vanity

    We have this roomba for our downstairs and a shark robot vac upstairs. This roomba cleans a lot deeper and is more thorough, has better tech, and just does an overall better job. Easy to use and worth the money. Happy with our purchase. Make sure to clean the rollers from accumulated hair every once in awhile, depending on how much hair you have in your house. It could melt and weld onto the plastic if it builds up too much. Speaking from experience, obviously. But it was an easy fix and we just ordered the parts we needed.
