   Very pleased with this purchase. For the money, the drone is very easy to fly (I am a beginner) and shoots great quality videos for my Youtube Channel (Yellowlab247). I would strongly recommend this drone if you are new to flying before investing $1000 in one. I bought this drone based on reviews and it has met expectation.

   This is my very first quadcopter, from reviews (not just Amazon...search YouTube), this seems to be an amazing aircraft. I made my 1st maiden voyage, after reading & re-reading manual, & watching a multitude of YouTube vids, today.
   All I can say is I'm impressed! After following instructions to calibrate it (took me 3 times to do it correctly...my learning curve) , she hovered amazingly. I was impressed by the steady and predictable flight controls!
   Highly recommend. I have a Holy Stone hs210 on order, to further practice...and ao kiddo doesn't try to commandeer this one!
   Holy Stone customer service has been super responsive and helpful!!

   This Drone when in its first speed (upper right speed change on controller) just what I been looking for smooth steady pictures and video and has nice Video playback. If your flying around a distance of 400’. This little drone holds its own in medium gusty winds so mountain tops and valleys work well thru the Wind Drafts. It has Landing Lights that are really BRITE!. This drone flies great at night and can be seen well when installing an additional LED lights on it. This AN ADULT DRONE. More so in my opinion ( even tho it’s handles like a Dream.

   This is my 1st drone so I watched many videos before deciding to go with the Holy Stone 700E. Just a heads up if you are doing the same as the older video unboxing they came with 2 batteries. Somewhere along the way, they are now sending just one so I bought another after the drone arrived.
   My drone arrived on a Friday and on the test flight, I could not get the camera tilt to work. I sent an email to HS on Sunday asking if I had a setting wrong. The got back to me Sunday night asking if I can take a short video of the problem and email it to them. The manufacture got back to me on Monday and told me that it was a problem from the manufacturer and instructed me to return it to amazon.
   Amazon service could not have been better during this return. My only issue with Amazon was that there is no return and replace option. I had to wait for them to receive the drone and then they credited my account which I used to buy the exact same drone which arrived on Thursday.
   I am having a blast with this and am "slowly" learning how to be a great pilot.

   The drone is pretty nice. It is really easy to control, and the sync between the control and the drone itself is fast and steady. The drone has great range and the landing light on the bottom of the drone is amazingly bright. I had the drone hovering around 60 ft above the ground in my backyard at night and the ground was lit up well to see where it was landing.... I loved that. I would recommend this drone to anyone interested in flying a drone. However, I would recommend this more for intermediate to advance drone flyers because I think for a drone like this, some experience helps to maximize all the features effectively with ease. Battery life Is pretty good on this drone as well. I would say you certainly get at least 18 - 20 mins of flight time per battery. The picture is a photo I took with the drone above my home in my neighborhood. I think the quality if fairly good for it being so high, which is not even remotely at the highest hight the drone can go. Ultimately, I'm very happy with the purchase.

    Holy Stone makes extremely decent drones for beginners and avid users alike. The HS700E is a fantastic drone for those wanting to get into the bigger, less toy-like, products. Overall I like this drone and found very little fault with it. Here is my take:
   
   Pros....
   Easy to fly.
   Good for beginners wanting to advance their skills.
   Good app interface.
   Quality build.
   Decent camera with stable imaging.
   GREAT battery life.
   
   Cons....
   Very wind sensitive.
   Slow mode is really really slow.
   Minor signal issues (choppiness) at further distances (about 600 or 700 feet away).
   Follow me mode didn't like to work.
   Return to home landing is about 2 to 3 feet off.
   Lands somewhat rough.
   
   Remember, this is not an exhaustive list of pros vs. cons. Also they are just my opinions. But overall, the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
   I really like this drone. I was getting 30+ minutes on each battery even when the wind picked up (which honestly is better than my other drones of similar build and size). And although the landing is a bit rough and a couple feet off, it is not that bad.
   The basic point is if you want a very decent drone at a fair price without spending hundreds to even a couple thousand dollars, this drone is worth every dollar.

   This is my 4th Holy Stone Drone. First one was a starter which I love and still fly, Second one was an upgrade which I crashed hard and maybe into a river. It still flew but there were some issues so I reached out to the folks at Holy Stone, did some trouble shooting and ended it replacing it with my third drone which is still in use. That brings us to our fourth drone.
   
   I got this one for the camera. The other were impressive but when I saw they offered a 4k version I had to give it a shot. I'm glad I did because it does not disappoint. The attached photo is directly from the drone to the phone. I forgot to put an SD card in the drone so this was transmitted from about 300 feet and captured on my phone.
   
   The drone is responsive, the controller is intuitive, and the unit has all the features you could ask for. Return to home functions, follow me, GPS, auto take off and landing. Did I mention the camera is amazing? It also comes with 2 batteries, spare props (in case you crash like I did), and a great carrying case.
   
   This is now my go to drone for capturing video and photos at any altitude. I saw that knowing that should anything happen, the folks at Holy Stone stand behind their product.

    The Holy Stone HS700E is an excellent drone! When I got this drone I plugged in the batteries which charged in a few hours. After charging the 2 included batteries I took the drone out to fly. The pairing on the remote and calibration of the drone was a breeze and it was in the air in a minute. The drone flew extremely well and for a long time too. The video feed streaming back to my phone was smooth and crisp. When I looked at the pictures and videos from it I was very impressed. The image and video quality is great. It does 4k 30fps or 1080p 60fps. Both modes are extremely smooth because of the EIS. After the drone auto-landed because the first battery was low I put in the second battery and tested how long it flew. I put it into high speed mode and flew it all around. Almost non stop. It flew for exactly 23 minutes which was great! The battery life is a perfect amount of time to have a lot of fun with this drone. The app connection is great as well so you can easily view the camera from the drone in real time. The build quality of the drone is very sturdy and the blades are easy to take on and off. The case it comes with has 2 slots for the batteries as well as the controller and drone. You would be able to get a 3rd battery and leave it in the drone while in the case as well.
   
   Overall: It’s an excellent drone

   The App: Nice
   
   The Build quality: Super
   
   The Battery life: Amazing
   
   I really recommend the Holy Stone HS700E to anyone! It’s perfect for your first drone if you are just getting into the drone hobby as you can use it in low speed or for a professional who wants to fly fast in high speed. This drone checks all boxes and is a great drone.

   I have only been flying a couple of months and wanted to step up from the hs 120 which is an excellent entry point ; not too expensive not to cheap. I wanted something more though as I was looking for better video quality and more stability when flying . As a beginner this was the perfect next step. The unit is solid and well made. The package came with a very nice case , two batteries, extra blades and nice owners manual. Easier to setup then the 120 as once you turn the drone on the wifi is picked up easily. Calibration was a snap with excellent lighting on the drone. I tested the return to home, follow me and circle me options and they all worked great. The video and photo quality of the 4k camera is very nice. As a beginner I am still working on not having jerky movements when adjusting the camera angles. Overall very happy with this drone. Would have been nice if you could fold the props because otherwise to put back in the case you have to remove them each time. Also even though the books are excellent it would be nice to have a quick start guide for us newbies. Step one turn on the drone , step 2 turn on the remote and what lights to look for at each step etc. . But that's just because I am new at this . I guess people that have been flying a while don't need that. One small thing Holy Stone should go ahead and include the batteries for the remote and a small sd card so its ready to use when you get it. Also, the drone batteries do take several hours to charge and you simply use the included usb cords. Be sure to check the amperage of your charger per the owners manual recommendations so as not to overcharge. Holy Stone customer service has a great reputation and is always there to help. Again very happy with the purchase and considering all you get in the package ; I feel its an overall very good value. Looking forward to much more flying. Oh by the way be sure and register as this is over the minimum weight.
   It's quick and easy and only $5 bucks for hobbyists. You only have to register once for all your drones. I think you will be very happy with this drone.

    I got this HS700E quadcopter as a first more high end quadcopter to play with for flying and taking video and photos. Previously, I flew the toy ones that did not have sophisticated electronics like GPS and high end 4K video cameras. I was impressed when I opened the box with the quality feel of the packaging and foam padded container for the quad, as well as the high quality feel of the quadcopter, controller, and detailed manual instructions that allowed me to learn how to use this machine.
   
   I charged the batteries, which took a few hours, and took it for a test flight. I was a little nervous having crashed the lighter quadcopters I've flown, and there was a slight breeze on my street. This HS700E is a bit heavier and stood up to the light wind well. In the attached video, I did a quick review, followed by some clips of me flying, followed by some clips of video from the phone app that was paired to the quadcopter. I'm guessing the 4K video quality would be on the microSD card in the quad, versus what's going to the phone over wifi.
   
   I had a lot of fun flying this for the first few times, and will take it to the park soon to get a little more adventurous in flying altitude as well as distance away from me in a more open space. First impressions are that this thing is really cool, and I'm looking forward to flying it a lot more in the coming weeks. If I have any issues or thoughts that warrant an update to this review, I'll post something. Otherwise, would definitely recommend buying this for the price.
   
   Update 1: Went back to the park and was able to fly with the "follow me" function. Very cool the quad follows and points the camera at you as you move around. Also used the "land at home function" and the quad was able to come over and land itself. So far so good and I'm much less worried about crashing given these functions built into the app on the phone paired to the quad.
   
   Update 2: Today I figured out that I was in a "beginner mode" which wouldn't allow me to fly further away. So, I turned that off :) I was able to go up to ~300 ft when my wifi video cut out. I also flew hundreds of feet away comfortably because I knew that "home" button would bring the quadcopter right back. I successfully used the waypoint directed flight over the phone app, and the circulating around a point of interest. I am thoroughly impressed so far with the quality of the quadcopter hardware and software - even in moderately windy conditions the performance is impressive.
